چکیده
Context: In power electronics applications, it is important to make comparisons between converters choose the device that best suits a particular application. This paper compares Boost converter and hybrid converter. The operating models of both under study are developed explained in detail allow for proper comparison analysis. Method: Using passive sign law, differential equations govern behavior each determined upon basis their switching states. Then, circuit simulations performed by using OpenModelica software analyze output signals with same input parameters. Results: Comparisons voltage current gains, time response, ripple were obtained. Additionally, efficiency was analyzed adding resistive losses element converters. Conclusions: For high duties, has greater capacity increase than It also found low overshoot response its signals. However, this less efficient.

Benchmark: DC-to-DC Switched-Mode Power Converters (Buck Converters, Boost Converters, and Buck-Boost Converters)
Power electronics represent a large and important class of hybrid systems, as modern digital computers and many other systems rely on their correct operation. In this benchmark description, we model three DC-toDC switched-mode power converters as hybrid automata with continuous dynamics specified by linear ordinary differential equations. A DC-toDC converter transforms a DC source voltage from ...

This paper describes the bifurcation phenomena of a system of parallel-connected d.c.=d.c. boost converters. The results provide important information for the design of stable current sharing in a master–slave con guration. Computer simulations and experiments are performed to capture the e ects of variation of some chosen parameters on the qualitative behaviour of the system. In particular, it...
متن کاملSoft Switching Analysis in Dc-dc Boost Converters
The boost topology is the most popular topology used in power factor correction circuits. The efficiency and performance of the boost converter depends on the switching frequency affecting the switching losses. At high frequency operations the switching losses of the converter is considerable and decreases the efficiency of the converter. To remove this problem the converter is designed to oper...
